CHANNING TATUM (Mike / Producer) recently starred as Mark Schultz in the acclaimed, Oscar-nominated drama "Foxcatcher," based on the true story of John du Pont, who murdered Olympic wrestler and Mark’s brother, Dave Schultz. Directed by Bennett Miller, the film also starred Mark Ruffalo and Steve Carell. Tatum’s recent credits also include the hit comedy sequel "22 Jump Street," opposite Jonah Hill and the animated adventure "Book of Life."

Tatum’s upcoming projects include the Coen brothers’ comedy "Hail, Caesar!," with an all-star cast, including Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill, George Clooney and Josh Brolin; Quentin Tarantino’s post-Civil War western, "The Hateful Eight"; and the superhero film "Gambit," to be directed by Rupert Wyatt, in which Tatum will play the title role. Also in the works is an as-yet untitled feature based on the life of Evel Knievel.

Tatum previously starred in "White House Down," directed by Roland Emmerich, and also starring Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods and Richard Jenkins; the 2103 crime drama "Side Effects," directed by Steven Soderbergh, with Rooney Mara, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones; and Steven Soderbergh’s blockbuster "Magic Mike," alongside Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello. "Magic Mike" was independently financed and produced by Tatum and his production partner, Reid Carolin, who also wrote the script. Released on June 29, 2012, it has grossed over $167 million worldwide. That same year, Tatum starred opposite Jonah Hill in the hit comedy "21 Jump Street." Tatum and Hill were also executive producers on the project, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

In 2010, Tatum starred opposite Amanda Seyfried in the box office hit "Dear John," based on the Nicolas Sparks bestseller. Lasse Hallström directed from a script by Jamie Linden. The film has grossed over $114 million worldwide. In August 2009, Tatum was seen in another box office hit, "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," directed by Stephen Sommers and co- starring Sienna Miller, Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid. He also appeared in the sequel, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," released on March 29, 2013.

In 2011, Tatum starred in the crime thriller "The Son of No One," opposite Al Pacino and Katie Holmes, and in the epic Roman adventure "The Eagle," opposite Jamie Bell and Donald Sutherland. In 2009, he starred opposite Terrence Howard in "Fighting," directed by Dito Montiel and in 2008, "Stop/Loss," for acclaimed director Kimberly Peirce and producer Scott Rudin.

In 2006, Tatum received an Independent Spirit nomination and a Gotham Award nomination for his powerful performance in the independent film "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints," which won the Special Jury Prize for Best Ensemble as well as the dramatic directing award for Dito Montiel at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Written and directed by Montiel, the film was based on his 2003 memoir of the same title, a powerful coming-of-age drama that takes place in 1980’s Astoria and follows Montiel’s impoverished and violent life from his youth to adulthood. Tatum played the role of Montiel’s best friend, Dito, alongside Robert Downey Jr., Shia LaBeouf and Chazz Palminteri.

Also in 2006, Tatum starred opposite Amanda Bynes in "She’s the Man," directed by Andy Fickman and produced by Lauren Shuler Donner, and the box office hit "Step Up," directed by Anne Fletcher and produced by Adam Shankman. The film centers around Tyler Gage, played by Tatum, a street smart juvenile delinquent who gets sentenced to community service at a high school for the performing arts.

Tatum was born in Alabama and grew up in Florida. He is married to actress Jenna Dewan.
