Robert "Bobby" Cannavale is an American actor born in Union City, New Jersey to a Cuban mother and Italian father. Mr. Cannavale grew up in South Florida where he attended Coconut Creek High School.

Mr. Cannavale was a leading actor in the 2014 film "Chef", where many scenes were filmed in Miami and included locations Versailles restaurant, Fountainbleau Hotel, Hoy Como Ayer in Little Havana and others.

Mr. Cannavale is known for his leading role as Bobby Caffey in the first two seasons of the television series Third Watch. Cannavale also had a recurring role on the NBC comedy series Will & Grace as Officer Vincent "Vince" D'Angelo, Will Truman's long-term boyfriend, and portrayed Gyp Rosetti during the third season of the HBO drama Boardwalk Empire, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2013. He recently played Chili in Woody Allen's 2013 film Blue Jasmine.
